Scientists decode walking changes after leg loss

Summary

This study looks at how people adjust their walking after losing part of a leg. Researchers will measure movement, balance, and muscle activity in 75 adults with a leg amputation while they walk on different surfaces. The goal is to better understand these changes to improve future prosthetic designs.
