First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether modified Cawthorne-Cooksey exercises (a type of head and eye movement training) can improve neck awareness and daily function in people with cervical radiculopathy, a condition where a pinched nerve in the neck causes pain, numbness, and dizziness. 54 adults aged 30-45 with mild to moderate neck disability and at least 6 months of symptoms participated. The exercises aim to retrain the brain's sense of neck position and reduce dizziness, potentially helping patients move more confidently.
