First seen Dec 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether giving HIV prevention medicine (PrEP) right away at a syringe services program helps people stay HIV-negative. 90 adults who were already enrolled in the program and tested negative for HIV took part. Researchers measured how much of the medicine was in their blood after 6 months to check if they were taking it regularly.
