Summary

This study tested a mobile app-based cardiac rehab program for people who recently had a heart attack, stent, or heart surgery. 259 participants were randomly assigned to either the app program or traditional center-based rehab. The goal was to see if the app could improve walking ability, cholesterol, and overall heart health just as well. Results will help understand if virtual rehab is a good option for heart recovery.
