Summary
This study tested a mobile app-based cardiac rehab program for 259 adults who recently had a heart attack, stent, or heart surgery. The goal was to see if using the app improved walking ability, cholesterol, and overall heart health compared to standard in-person rehab. The program included virtual coaching and health tracking to make recovery more convenient.
