First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study explores whether a mobile app and activity wristband, recommended by family doctors, can help 100 adults with metabolic syndrome become more physically active. Participants are split into two groups: one uses the app and tracker, the other gets usual care. Researchers will track app use, step counts, and changes in health measures like cholesterol and blood sugar to see if digital tools can improve chronic disease management in primary care.
