First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested a new experimental malaria drug called MMV367 in 12 healthy adults. Participants were intentionally infected with a controlled, low-level malaria infection to see how well the drug kills the parasite and how safe it is. The goal was to understand the right dose and how the drug works in the body, not to cure anyone.
