First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a wound dressing called Miro3D, made from pig liver tissue, to see if it helps heal hard-to-treat wounds like diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers. Up to 20 adults will receive the dressing along with standard care for up to 12 weeks. Researchers will measure wound shrinkage, new tissue growth, and changes in quality of life.
