Summary
This study tested whether the drug mirikizumab can help people with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis whose gut inflammation has not improved with standard treatments. About 100 adults took part, and researchers measured changes in symptoms and inflammation using colonoscopies and biopsies. The goal was to see if mirikizumab could reduce disease activity and improve quality of life.
