NCT ID NCT06246396

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether minocycline, an antibiotic, can lower blood pressure in people whose hypertension does not respond to standard treatments. Researchers will explore if changes in gut bacteria, inflammation, or brain activity explain the effects. 120 adults will take minocycline or a placebo daily for 3 months.
