First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a new, less invasive surgery to rebuild bone in the upper jaw for people who need dental implants. The procedure goes through the gum to lift the sinus membrane and add bone exactly where it's needed. About 20 adults with bone loss near the upper first molar will take part. The goal is to see if this approach causes less discomfort while still creating enough bone for implants.
