First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 167 adults with chronic kidney disease who were on either hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. Researchers compared their blood levels of calcium, phosphorus, and other minerals to see how each dialysis type affects bone and mineral health. The goal was to better understand these differences, not to test a new treatment.
