NCT ID NCT06336538
Summary
This study is developing and testing a shorter version of mindfulness therapy specifically for older Black women who have survived breast cancer and are experiencing mild to moderate depression. The program involves 8 weekly one-hour online group sessions that combine mindfulness exercises with discussion of culturally relevant topics. Researchers want to see if this adapted approach is practical and acceptable for this community, which often faces barriers to mental health care.
