Summary
This study tests a mindfulness-based program to help cancer survivors stop smoking and reduce heavy drinking. Six hundred survivors in Florida who smoke and drink heavily will either get the mindfulness program or standard care. The goal is to see if mindfulness leads to more people quitting smoking and having fewer heavy drinking days.
