First seen Aug 11, 2026 · Last updated Aug 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This trial tests whether an 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction program can help first-time pregnant women feel less depressed, improve their psychological well-being, and strengthen their attachment to their unborn baby. About 108 women in their first pregnancy, between 13 and 24 weeks along, will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness program or routine care. The program is delivered online via Zoom, with weekly sessions, and participants will fill out questionnaires before and after to measure changes.
