First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether a mindfulness-based program could help people with implanted heart devices (like defibrillators or pacemakers) feel more resilient and less stressed, anxious, or depressed. About 34 adults who recently got a device and had high anxiety or depression scores took part. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
