Summary

This study tested whether a 6-month online mindfulness course could help adults with uncontrolled type 1 or type 2 diabetes better manage their blood sugar levels. Researchers compared the mindfulness program to a standard stress management education course, with both delivered in live virtual classrooms. The main goal was to see if learning mindfulness skills could lead to a meaningful improvement in long-term glucose control.
