Summary
This pilot study tested a mindfulness-based cognitive therapy program, called Quiet Focus, in 12 older Black adults with chronic pain and mild depression. The goal was to see if the program is acceptable and helpful, and to gather information for a larger future study. Participants attended group sessions and reported on their pain, mood, and satisfaction.
