First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This pilot study tested two behavioral programs—mindfulness and education—delivered via telehealth to 67 adults recovering from lumbar spine surgery. Participants attended 8 weekly online sessions and completed surveys and pain tasks before surgery and at 2 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months after. The goal was to see if these programs are feasible and whether they improve pain, function, and well-being.
