New study tests resilience training for lymphoma survivors

NCT ID NCT07014293

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a mind-body resilience group program can help lymphoma survivors cope better after finishing treatment. Researchers will enroll 254 adults who are within two years of completing curative therapy. Participants will either receive enhanced usual care or join a program that teaches relaxation, stress recognition, and positive thinking skills. The goal is to see if the program reduces anxiety and improves coping.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

mind-body resilience group program (SMART3RP-Lymphoma) including relaxation response, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychology

What this could lead to

If it works, this could provide a practical, non-drug way to help lymphoma survivors manage stress and improve their quality of life after treatment.

What could go wrong

This is a relatively small, early-stage trial testing a behavioral program, so results may not apply to all survivors. The program requires active participation and may not work for everyone.
