Summary

This study looks at whether combining guided exercise with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can help Black men with type 2 diabetes and depressive symptoms improve their blood sugar control and quality of life. About 80 men will take part in a 7-month program that includes weekly online sessions. All participants receive CBT, and half also get exercise sessions. The goal is to see if this combined approach leads to better diabetes management and less emotional distress.
