First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a natural brain chemical called adrenomedullin can cause migraine attacks in people who already get migraines. Researchers will give the chemical to 26 adults with migraine without aura, after they have taken a preventive migraine drug (erenumab). The goal is to understand how this chemical works in migraine, not to test a new treatment.
