First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether early use of midodrine, a pill that raises blood pressure, can help people with sepsis need less IV medicine and recover faster. About 308 adults with sepsis and low blood pressure will receive midodrine or a placebo. The goal is to see if it reduces time on IV support, hospital stays, and complications.
