Blood molecules may warn of chemo nerve pain

NCT ID NCT07427537

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether tiny molecules in the blood, called microRNAs, can help predict how often and how severely cancer patients develop nerve damage from chemotherapy. Researchers will study 90 people receiving specific chemo drugs for lung or colon cancer. The goal is to find a simple blood test that could warn doctors early, so they can adjust treatment to reduce nerve pain.
