First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 28, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study collects samples like stool, saliva, and skin cells from up to 600 people of all ages to study the microbiome—the bacteria and other tiny organisms living in and on our bodies. Researchers want to understand how these microbes help keep us healthy or contribute to illness. The samples will be stored for future research, not to treat participants directly.
