Summary

This study tested whether metformin, a common diabetes medicine, could help slow down thinking and memory problems in people with Huntington's disease. 60 adults with early Huntington's took either metformin or a placebo pill every day for a year. Researchers measured changes in attention, word fluency, and other cognitive skills to see if metformin made a difference.
