Massive health study seeks clues to prevent heart disease and diabetes

NCT ID NCT07248371

Summary

This large research study aims to understand why some people develop serious health problems related to metabolic syndrome, like heart disease and fatty liver. Researchers will collect blood, urine, and stool samples from over 6,000 participants, both with and without metabolic syndrome, to analyze their genes, metabolism, and gut bacteria. The goal is to find biological patterns that predict who is at risk for complications, which could lead to more personalized prevention and treatment plans in the future.
