Summary

This study compared using 3 points versus 1 point to fix a lightweight mesh during laparoscopic hernia repair (TAPP) in 351 adults with a first-time inguinal hernia. The goal was to see which method leads to less pain, fewer complications like seroma or infection, and lower recurrence rates over 12 months. Results are based on follow-up exams and patient reports.
