First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether mepolizumab 300 mg can improve sinus symptoms in 52 adults with EGPA (a rare inflammatory disease) and severe, hard-to-control nasal polyps. Researchers measured changes in polyp size, quality of life, and smell function over 12 months. The goal was to see if the drug reduces the need for surgery or steroids.
