Could your period be the key to quitting smoking?

Summary
This study is testing if starting a quit attempt during a specific phase of a woman's menstrual cycle makes it easier to stop smoking. It will enroll 1200 women who smoke daily and want to quit. Participants will be randomly assigned to start their quit attempt in one of two cycle phases or at a time of their choosing, all while using nicotine patches and gum/lozenges with behavioral support.
