Smart dosing could make transplant safer for lymphoma patients
NCT ID NCT05540340
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to calculate the dose of melphalan, a chemotherapy drug, for lymphoma patients getting a stem cell transplant. Instead of using a fixed dose based on height and weight, researchers use a model that considers how previous patients processed the drug. The goal is to see if this personalized dose can reduce side effects while still being effective. About 39 adults with various lymphomas will take part.
