NCT ID NCT07247513
First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 27, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether the order in which elite female athletes eat their food—specifically, eating carbs at the end of a meal versus at the start—changes their blood sugar levels throughout the day. Twenty-two healthy athletes wore a continuous glucose monitor for six days during a training camp and followed different meal sequences. The goal was to see if a simple change in eating order could help manage blood sugar, which may affect energy and performance.
