First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single dose of MDMA (the drug in ecstasy) can make a proven talk therapy for PTSD work better. 40 adults with PTSD will receive MDMA on the second day of a 10-day intensive therapy program. The goal is to see if this combination reduces PTSD symptoms more than therapy alone.
