Summary
This study is testing whether a device called magnetocardiography (MCG) can quickly and accurately tell if chest pain is caused by a heart attack. Researchers at Mayo Clinic will use the MCG scanner on 1,000 emergency room patients with chest pain and compare its accuracy to standard tests. If it works, MCG could help doctors make faster decisions and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.
