Summary

This study tests whether a mother's voice, touch, or scent can reduce pain and stress in newborns during a routine heel prick for blood sampling. 120 healthy full-term babies will be randomly assigned to hear their mother's voice, feel her touch, smell her breast milk, or receive standard care. Researchers will measure pain and stress using behavioral and physical signs.
