Summary
This study tests whether a group-based mental health program, adapted from the WHO's Thinking Healthy Programme, can help new mothers with mild to moderate depression. 440 mothers with infants up to 12 months old will either receive the program or usual care at community health centers in China. Researchers will track mothers' depressive symptoms, parenting stress, and child development over time.
