First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a special type of massage therapy, designed to be sensitive to trauma and different cultures, can help refugees and asylum seekers who survived torture or war. About 50 people will either get their usual care plus this massage, or just usual care. The goal is to see if the massage reduces pain, anxiety, PTSD, and depression, and improves daily life.
