Massage may ease cancer infusion stress

NCT ID NCT07502157

First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether massage therapy can reduce pain and anxiety in people with gynecologic cancer while they receive infusion treatments like chemotherapy. Researchers will compare massage to a simple attention control in 24 participants over three infusion sessions. The main goal is to see if a larger study is possible, not to prove massage works yet.
