First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether adding malic acid (a natural fruit acid) to standard immunotherapy is safe and helps control tumors in people with solid cancers like colorectal, lung, or melanoma. About 30 adults currently on immunotherapy will take oral malic acid. Researchers will monitor side effects, find the best dose, and check for early signs of tumor shrinkage.
