What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Exercise program with physical therapist sessions and mobile health technology
What this could lead to
If successful, this program could help older adults maintain their ability to walk and stay independent, reducing the need for nursing care.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed study with 75 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program requires motivation and may not work for all older adults.
