First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 150 adults having gallbladder surgery to see if fatty liver disease (MAFLD) makes a special imaging technique less clear. The imaging uses a dye to help surgeons see bile ducts. Researchers found that fatty liver can reduce image quality and created a way to predict this before surgery.
