Can a bypass during surgery stop lymphedema before it starts?
NCT ID NCT05992909
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether doing a lymphovenous bypass procedure at the same time as lymph node removal surgery can prevent lymphedema (chronic leg swelling). Twenty adults having groin lymph node surgery will get the bypass and be followed for 2 years. The main goal is to see if the procedure is safe and reduces swelling risk.
