First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether injecting a radioactive sugar (18F-FDG) into the cervix before a PET/CT scan can better show which pelvic lymph nodes contain cancer. About 42 women with stage IB1 cervical cancer or high-grade endometrial cancer will receive the injection before their surgery. The goal is to improve the accuracy of cancer staging and guide surgical removal of affected lymph nodes.
