Can anemia drug reverse heart damage in kidney patients?

Summary

This observational study will check how common left ventricular hypertrophy (thickening of the heart muscle) is in people with chronic kidney disease. It will also look at whether treating anemia with erythropoietin can reduce that thickening. About 100 adults with moderate to severe kidney disease will take part.
