First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jul 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a radioactive drug called lutetium Lu 177 dotatate in men with advanced prostate cancer that has neuroendocrine features. The drug seeks out and kills cancer cells that have a specific protein on their surface. The goal is to see if it can shrink tumors. About 35 men will take part.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
