Progesterone boost may help IUI success
NCT ID NCT07508657
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether taking progesterone (a hormone) after intrauterine insemination (IUI) increases the chance of pregnancy in women who also took letrozole to stimulate their ovaries. About 690 women in Denmark will be randomly assigned to receive either progesterone vaginal suppositories or no extra treatment. The goal is to see if this simple addition improves clinical pregnancy rates.
