New hope for blood cancer patients with failing transplants

Summary

This study compares luspatercept to epoetin for people with blood cancers who have poor red blood cell production after a stem cell transplant. About 90 adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs. The goal is to see which drug better reduces the need for blood transfusions and improves hemoglobin levels.
