NCT ID NCT06983366

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing a new ultrasound measurement called the Lung Sliding Index (LSI) to see if it can help doctors tell apart different lung diseases like COPD, pneumonia, and pneumothorax. Researchers will enroll 700 adults with various lung conditions and healthy volunteers to check how well LSI works and if results are consistent between different operators. The goal is to improve diagnosis and reduce the need for more invasive tests.
