Triple threat: radiation plus Immuno-Chemo shows promise for lung cancer

NCT ID NCT07608159

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special type of radiation (SF-SBRT) to the usual combination of immunotherapy (toripalimab) and chemotherapy helps people with stage II-III non-small cell lung cancer live longer without the cancer coming back. About 200 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the triple therapy or the standard two-drug therapy before surgery. The main goal is to see if the new approach improves the chance of being cancer-free two years after treatment.
