NCT ID NCT06424327
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 07, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study is a registry that will follow 600 people with early-stage lung cancer who undergo a surgery called segmentectomy. Participants will fill out questionnaires about their health before surgery, shortly after, and six months later. The goal is to measure how long people live without the cancer coming back, over three and five years.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this registry could provide real-world evidence on how well segmentectomy works for early-stage lung cancer, helping guide future treatment decisions.
- What could go wrong
- This is an observational registry, not a treatment trial, so it won't test a new therapy. Results depend on patient-reported data and may not apply to all lung cancer patients.
